Partition Without Formatting Computer

When You Install OS In Your PC You Have To Partition Your Hard Drive For Example  C,D etc. After Partition You Will Rename hard Drive but Cannot Make New Partition Because You Have To Format Your Computer For Make New Hard Drive  But In Windows Vista & 7 You Shall Make New Partition Without Formatting If You want To Partition Your Hard Drive Follow Steps Given Below:

Step 1: Right Click On My Computer And Click on Manage After Do That A Window Name Compute Management Will Open In Your PC .

Step 2: In Computer Management Window Click On The Disk Management Button on Left Side.After Clicking On Disk Management You Will See All Hard Drive Available On Your PC.

Step 3: Select Your Primary Partition For Making New Partition From It.After Selecting Primary Partition (C, D etc.) Right Click On It Then Click On “Shrink Volume”.

Step 4: In Shrink Window You Will See Information Which You Selected You Will See Option like Available Space Before Shrink, Size Of Available Shrink , Enter The Amount of Shrink , Total Size After Shrink All The Figures Are In The MB .

Step 5: In The Box Enter The Amount Of Shrink Enter The Size Of New Partition  And Click On Shrink  After Clicking On It Process Of Making Partition Is Start And End In Few Minutes.
 

Step 6:After The Process End You Will See A Unlocated  Space(Drive) In Window Right Click On It Then Select  New Simple Volume Option . Now You Can See New Simple Volume Wizard On Your PC Screen In It Select NTFS In File System Option Then Click On Next Button And Last Click On Finish Button.

Step 7: Now Reboot Your PC And Now You Can See New Partition(Drive) In My Computer.
